Football in the rain!

Y3 had a fabulous time in our final football lesson on Thursday.  Staff and children were wet, muddy and delighted as the rain came down and the goals went in!

Well done to the children for being so sensible with their wet stuff - not a speck of mud could be seen on the new carpet, and the children were soon dry and warm again.

Thank you to Miss Blackham and our coach for organising this term’s football - the children and staff have learned a great deal and have really enjoyed the sessions.

New furniture

Y3 (and especially Mrs. Dawson and Miss Hartley), were very excited to get their new cupboards for outside the classroom today!

The children were a great help as Miss Hartley and a stream of willing volunteers sorted,  tidied and rearranged the outside area.

It all looks very cheerful and we are very pleased with our new area - a lovely place to work in.

Harvest Festival

Well done to Amy, Jessica H, Sophie C, Cameron and Bethan for reading their poems so beautifully in church last week.  It was very difficult to choose a ‘winner’ but eventually we decided on Jessica’s poem, as we loved the rhyming pattern.

Here it is!

Rabbits are hopping

Leaves are falling and conkers are popping

Echoes are calling, birds are tweeting

People are meeting

Glittery moon, Harvest is coming soon.
