A new star!
Darcey was this week’s superstar for Y3, very well done! She had some fabulous nominations, thanks to a delve in the thesaurus! Well done also to Y3 for coming up with some great descriptive words.

Y3 had a great afternoon at Northway searching for clues and solving puzzles. Four of our teams managed to complete the task, making Green Park second in the competition. Brilliant! The winners, Summerhill, also handed in four completed sheets, but they were just a little bit faster! So very well done to them, and congratulations to you, Y3, who took it all in good spirit. Mr. Hewer, Mrs. Roberts and I felt tired just watching you all running around - everybody really did put in maximum effort.
Thanks to Northway for hosting the event, and to Miss Blackham and Mr. McEvoy from Deyes High for organising it, and of course to Mrs. Roberts and Mr. Hewer for their driving and shouting! (Advice and encouragement!)
We had a wonderful time on Thursday!
I have (I think) finally worked out how to add photos and these can be found at www.gpy3.phanfare.com so have a look!
Lots more to see, which I will share with the children on Monday.
As always, behaviour was impeccable and the children should be very proud of themselves.
Many thanks to Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Dawson for giving up their time to help on the day.
I hope your legs are now recovered, boys and girls - I don’t know how the Roman army managed all that walking!
Well done to Sophie - I was really pleased to read out your name today, Sophie - you have come very close to the award several times and now you have achieved it! Another lovely member of Y3.
Natalie was nominated this week’s superstar by Y3. She had lots of votes - Mrs. Reed enjoyed reading them out. Well done, Natalie!
